EVALUATORS

Evaluators - GAF

GAF evaluators play a critical role in the deliberate, thorough accreditation of institutions, ensuring quality, institutional enhancement, and adherence to ethical business and educational practices. Evaluators are volunteers recognized for their dedication and willingness to give back to higher education by serving on evaluation teams and reviewing member institutions fairly and impartially according to established standards.
 

EVALUATORS ARE CLASSIFIED AS FOLLOWS: 
  1. Member - affiliated with GAF

    Public - not affiliated with GAF

  2. Academic - someone currently or recently directly engaged in a significant manner in postsecondary teaching and/or research currently or within the last five; OR

    Administrative - someone directly engaged in a significant manner in postsecondary programmatic administration currently or within the last five years; OR

    Neither academic or administrative.

Based on qualifications and upon successful completion of GAF training, evaluators are assigned one of the following roles:

  • Team Leader

  • Program Specialist

  • Student Relations

  • Educational Activities

  • Distance Education
